About The Northside House
The Northside House is a creative gallery venture co-founded by Doug Hafner, Chris Hoeting and Jonathan Sears. Set in a historic shotgun house -- built in 1880 -- the goal of The Northside House is to provide exceptional visual and conceptual experiences to each and every one of its patrons.
With high ceilings, multiple floors, and no "square" rooms, as an alternative space, The Northside House serves as a unique place for up-and-coming artists to get a fresh start, and gives established masters a place to be creative ...as we support progressive ideas and installation possibilities.
About the founders
Chris
As a well-studied artist and professor, Chris Hoeting brings his knowledge of the local art scene and his years of international artistic pursuits to his position as Gallery Director. His museum experience and unrivaled passion for the arts has given him the knowledge base needed to curate cohesive shows and help further conversation in the arts.

Jonathan
With countless years of creative pursuits, learned observation skills and a recently discovered enjoyment of observational writing, Jonathan Sears serves as the Design & Marketing Director for The Northside House. As he continues to poke his head around all-things-unfamiliar, his goal remains to help new audiences discover and support what he continues to dedicate his life to ...the arts & "true" creativity.
